"Next time a client calls you, ask him where he found you and why he decided to call you instead of your competitors. "

Then multiply the answer by 100 because you'll have 99 people with that opinion who you don't GET to talk to.

Treat the info as if it were $1000 bills.....just floating in the air.

Maybe. Maybe you're not using the right keywords. Or, maybe your audience doesn't use Google to find your kind of product. Ask yourself this question: if I were a person who wants/needs [what you sell], how would I find it? Would I ask a friend, go to the Yellow Pages, search online? Is my product something people know it exists? Maybe you have a product that solves a problem people don't realize there's a solution for.

Next time a client calls you, ask him where he found you and why he decided to call you instead of your competitors. You'll learn a lot from your clients.

Zeke,

An interesting experiment! I tried doing this for my main business keywords in my local area and got no results - or not enough for Google to show me:

"Not enough data to give estimates."

Guess I need to go into a new business!
