Hi Jennifer,

The first step is always to offer an outstanding service that people really want to recommend without you having to ask for it.

A possible second step might be to ask your clients if they know someone who could benefit from your services. If you're really good at what you do and they know people who need your services, they'll be happy to put you in touch with new prospects.

I hope it helps!

What if you run a specialized service-oriented business - what do you suggest to get referrals besides asking for them or offering referral fees?

Thanks for any suggestions!
