Google Wave and Google Buzz are two new tools that Google launched.
Google Wave
Google Wave is a real-time communication and collaboration tool that will change the way we do business very soon. Right now you need an invitation to start using the tool but you can request one from here.
This video will show you what you can do with Google Wave.
Google Buzz
Google Buzz is a new social networking “site” that is integrated within Gmail. You can share updates, videos, photos and links. Google Buzz integrates with Twitter, Picassa, Flickr and Google Reader. This is a great short video that will show you everything you need to know about Google Buzz.

Google Wave looks interesting and useful – but Google Buzz looks like Google’s attempt to compete with Facebook (which is currently getting more traffic per day than Google!) HAVING to get a Gmail account to use it makes it less interesting to me as I mostly use an email with my own domain name.
Another interesting alternative is http://www.YellowMarketing.com – it combines a “local search” business directory listing with a mini-website (5 pages) and the ability to post from a dashboard to a blog, your Facebook Fan page, and Facebook “City Pages” all at the same time. (Twitter and others coming soon.) Not free (well, you can grab a free listing but you don’t get the marketing tools with it), but it may be worthwhile to small businesses trying to save time & money while marketing on the Internet and posting to social media.
David,
I agree with what you have posted, http://www.yellowmarketing.com is an outstanding option for businesses today to Market online. The price point is less expensive for the year than a quarter page color ad in most print publications based on a one time insertion.
