Are question marks in URLs necessary? problematic?
/ Question by Laura
My URLS at the category and product level are very long and contain question marks, product IDs, etc. - must those characters be there or is there a way to "clean up" the URLs? Do they have a negative impact in any way? (Here is an example: http://www.chesapeakebaygiftbaskets.com/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=431) thank you for your advice! Laura

Wow! That's a yacky URL! :) You should definitely change that URL to http://www.chesapeakebaygiftbaskets.com/Gourmet-Chocolate/Bushel-of Chocolate-Crabs. Ask your developer to take care of this. Zeke
